Published: 26/03/2010

This year's European Educators Forum will took place in Berlin on March 23rd. Four Teachers from our Innovative Teachers Forum held in December, were invited to present their award winning projects to an audience of European Educators.

I am pleased to announce that for the 3rd year in a row the UK has two award winning teachers, both of whom are primary school teachers They are:-

Simon Horleston from Howe Dell Primary School in Hatfield, his project, Eco-Vids, explores pupils ideas about global and local environmental issues, through vidoe and stop motion animation.

Jan Webb from Weston Village Primary School in Crewe, her project, 'A classroom without walls', allows pupils to work collaboativiely across international borders, sharing ideas about healthy living with pupils in Singapore and Brunei.

You can download both these projects from the Home page of the Partners in Learning Network.

Congratulations to Jan and Simon, they can both now look forward to presenting their projects to a Worldwide audience at the Innovative Educators Forum being held in South Africa later this year.
